Everest Collection

The historic event took place in Kala Patthar at 5,340 meter above sea level on 26th January, 2020. Kala Patthar is famous for being the best view point of Mt. Everest and is located at a slightly higher altitude. 

Organizing a press conference in the capital on Wednesday, organisers said that the event was recorded into the Guinness World Records as the highest altitude fashion show. 

The event was organised by Kasa and sponsored by RB Diamond, both domestic brands of Nepal. Kasa showcased designs made out of sustainable fabrics of felt, pashmina and organic cotton and RB Diamond presented crowns and fine jewelry inspired by Nepali art, culture and patterns.

A total of 48 persons – 18 Nepali and international models, camera and support crew, medical doctors and photographers - were a part of this historic world Guinness record breaking event.
